Gary,
When I was wiring my Eldo this past summer, I needed some tubing for
making new harnesses, and could not find anything anywhere. I tried
Radio Shack, JC Whitney, and called several auto electric shops around
Dallas, and no-one could help me. The only thing I could get was some
automotive corrugated-type plastic tubing, which would have looked
unsightly on the bike. I did have an excellent local hardware store that
has everything, and eventually used heat shrink tubing I got there,
which worked wuite well. However, for future reference, I would like to
know where to get tubing of the same type used in standard wiring
harnesses, so please let me know where I can get this.
I have recently moved from Texas to the Northern Virginia area, which
I know is home to some of the people who contribute to this list. Please
let me know if anyone lives close by.
Thanks,
Brian

didn't understand basic maintenance. The Jap stuff is far from bullet
proof and very over rated. BTW shrink wrap (Polyolefin) is not at all
supple. Good vinyl is. I do hate to see bikes come in where shrink tube
is used in place of vinyl flex.
