Tom, that's a terible experience. I'm happy to hear that you are okay. I
don't know what I would have done. I think your ability to grab the gun and
push it away may have saved your life. I probably would have sh*t my pants.

Hi all,

I went to the Moto euro bike night get together last night and it was
cool. I left around nine, cause I wanted to stop by a freinds on the way
home. Well, all the lights were off so I left. Driving thru his
neighborhood, a car coming the other way came so close to me I had to
honk the horn. I think it was intentional, too.

Then, about 1/4 mile from my house I come to a stop sign at the freeway
access road. I stop and look in the rear view mirrow and see a car pull
up and then around me. As soon as he gets next to me, the passenger
leans WAY out of the car, points a BIG gun at me and is shouting
furiously(saying all kinds of foul things) that he is going to kill me!

I'm thinking,"No you're not" but I was prolly shouting "Ahhhh!" I
reached out with my left hand and grabbed the gunbarrell and pushed it
down and away from me. I then gave it a quick tug or yank and I think I
pulled it out of his hand, I don't know. I put the bike in gear and made
the fastest right turn in my life. I ducked down waiting to hear the
report of gunfire and feel the bullets hit my back, but they never came.
I blasted up the frontage road, passed a van and cut infront, blew the
light on another right turn and headed for the 'relative' safety of a
local gas station where I immedeatly called the cops.

They were there in a flash. They asked me what kind of car was it? "I
don't know" What did the gunman look like? "I don't know" What kind of
gun was it? " A BIG semi-automatic!"

I talked more with the cops, and we came to the conclusion that they
were just trying to scare me, cause if they wanted to kill me they just
would have shot me...

Some fun, huh?
