Derek-
I rode my eldo with floorboards on it for more than a year. Changed to
footpegs just for the hell of it. What an improvement! Bike felt better
and I felt like I had a lot more control. Long rides were easier too. Wish
I'd done the switch a long time ago. Fortunately I already had all the
parts needed to do it.
Just my $.02

I suppose I could post this to the BIG list, but, then I'd have to
resub.
I'm planning on a T3 purchase this year when i find one not too far away
from here. It's not going to be a bigtime cruiser although I will
certainly
do distance trips. The main interest is tweaking the suspension to give
good handling, having good brakes and going like hell.
Can someone tell me what I would have to do to change a floor board
model
into a footpeg type model. I'm assumuing there are lugs on the lower
rails
to which the floorboards attach. Would they have to be replaced for
footpegs.
I'm also assuming that shift a brake levers would need to be replaced.
Is
 this also correct?
If I'm totally missing something else I hope someone will let me know.
Thanks
