Well, my immediate source would be - www.genosgarage.com

Geno's Garage is a good source of accesories for the Dodge pickups with the
Cummins diesel.....my other toy.
The finger valve is $22.95, and the screw in valve is $48, which includes
both pieces. I have the two piece one on my engine. The part that stays on
the engine screws into the same hole where the plug was. It is nearly flush,
and has a brass cover that screws on to keep the dirt out. The other half
screws into it, which opens the valve, letting the oil out. There is a short
hose attached to the second piece.
I put the kit on for the samne basic reason....had my truck on the lift at
the Air Force Base Hobby shop, for an oil change, and when I tightened the
plug, it came apart, and I was only using a small 3/8 ratchet.

I would think that the thread could easily be tapped out, and these drain
plugs stay in place, so the thread could be sealed.
