I need sage advice. As some of you remember I the tranny oil plug on my Ambo stripped when I changed the oil this past weekend. Went to the auto parts store and bought a rubber/metal replacement drain plug. This thing shoves into the drain hole and then one just turns an adjuster underneath it which pulls a metal rod down through the rubber plug and the thing grips the hell out of the drain hole. Opinions on this are welcome. It sure beats rethreading. But does it work? Thanks.
