Sorry Bob...my mistake. If the oil drains out of the tranny then you seize the tranny.

Of course the engine and tranny are two separate entities.

I do understand your cautions. You said though that the engine may sieze if the tranny plug falls out. How so if it's the oil in the tranny that would be lost not the oil in the engine. Just wondering. Bob
