Those Harley leg shields look very practical and easy to make. Looks like
each shield is made of 3 pieces of marine vinyl and 4 snaps. My guess is
that each would cost $25 to make. Bob

I friend of mine had leg shields on his stock V700. They looked
cool but
he ended up taking them off because they seemed to make his engine
run hot
by blocking the air from the jugs. I am sure being down here in FLA
had
something to do with it also. He swore after taking them off the
bike ran
better. Maybe something to think about. He sold the bike to a guy
who did
a awful custom job on it. I think a have a "after" photo of it with
the
leg shields. I will try to dig it up and email it to you.

I'm in the process of tearing into my '69 Ambo, engine on the
floor
and frame almost ready for sandblasting and powder coating. I'm
toying
with the idea of going with leg shields. Can anybody point me in a
direction of some pictures of them?
I also have some extra 'Ambassador V750' sidecover decals for
the
non louvered sidecovers if anyone needs them.
Thanks,
John Prusnek
