John,
stay cool. The carrier bearing is always good for huge
surprises. When I disassembled my MilleGT the u-joint
came out quite easy. When I inspected the surface of the
inner ring by finger it appeared odd. When I had it out
the inner ring was broken four-fold. Was riding this way, but
no idea how long. Luckily I found it before somthing happend.

Gary : Thanks for the offer; I've got one of those, just didn't want to go beating too much on the inside of the bearing. I'm going to blow off tomorrow (work) and play with the bike, I should have it out one way or another. John Prusnek |
