Brian,
Yeh, the "fin" as I call it is a tab, probablly welded in there for added
strengh. Doesn't really look like it would acually do that, but hey, I'm not
any kind of structural engineer. It's at the upper part of the frame towards
the rear where the U starts for the rr fender/passenger seat.

Once you get home and look at it, it'll be clear.

Kevin,
Thanks for the info, but I'm not sure what you mean by the "fin" on
the frame. Is this a tab welded on the frame? Unfortunately, I am out of
town and can't take a quick look at the bike.

Mount them at the bottom in place of your rr pegs. You'll see that the
top matches up with the "fin" on the frame. Drill your hole to match the

crashbar and your done (easier done without the rr fender on).

I wanted to put rear crashbars on my Eldo a while back, and after I
got some, I saw that they would not fit because they would not clear my
Wixom bags. Since then, I have seen several pictures of bikes with Wixom

bags and rear bars.
Can anyone tell me how this is done.
Thanks,
Brian
