So I got my coated bits back from the
powdercoater for my '70 Ambo. Wow.
They look so clean and shiny it's
almost a shame to reassemble it. But
seeing as how I want to ride it, I guess
I should :).
Well, I imagine I need to get the swingarm
oil seals and fork seals from a dealer, but
what about bearings? The headstock bearings
and swingarm bearings look like they should
be available at a decent bearing supply store.
What about the U-joint carrier bearing?
Oh and are the threaded plugs that fit in the top
of the fork tubes available anywhere? One is fine,
but the other one is missing about 2/3 of it's threads.
