That would be good. BTW I ride in the cold with my Belstaff outfit. I
can't stand to wait months to ride, even though in the cold I can't ride too

I'm in Lenoir, NC...675 miles south of you. I shoulda noticed you are on
the same ISP my girlfriend is on. She's in Warsaw. BTW, my cousin lves
in
 Rochester...May St. near E. Henrietta (I think, that is). Maybe we'll
meet
 one day when I'm up. Terrorize the countryside with whomever it was that
lives in Penn Yan and maybe Ian if he is still up there by the time I get
off my ass and ride up. I'm coming up this weekend, but by car. Besides,
it's no longer bike weather up there unless you're JB and his snowmobile
suit! ;)
Hunter, I haven't forgotten your beer! We'll see you in January probably.

You guys are making me jealous. My longest ride so far has been about
200
 miles piddling in the mountains around here...from nowhere in
particular
 
 to
 nowhere else in particular. I guess 'cos I'm a bit of a newbie I'm
not
 
 used
 to the long trips...my ass and arms were numb after that "short"
jaunt.
 
 
 This coming summer, I'm hoping to ride up to Buffalo to see my babe.
Do
 
 an
 all back road two day trip or something...if I can stand it. I
desperately
 need more practice.
Wish I could ride at night, but I have a vision disorder that makes me
not
 really want to do that. Btw, everyone please support stem cell
research...it holds the cure for my problem. Damn religious right is
holding me back!

The longest I've ever put in is 822 from San Francisco to Phoenix,
taking
 
 leave to see family back in the 70's. My longest in terms of time was
24
 
 hrs
straight, again from San Francisco to Phoenix. I did learn to never
put
 
 an
 
 entire Guzzi back together then leave a half hour later. It leads to
numerous roadside repairs.
