Hi Ian and all,
I've been pondering the "Loopframe National" location question as well. I
know the folks in Pocahontas County, WV (southern part of the state) would
welcome us with open arms. The CBX International rally is held in Marlinton
(the county seat) and nearby Snowshoe Resort is the location for a big
all-brand rally each year.
It's probably best though to have it in conjunction with one of the
"regular" MGNOC rallies. I think if a big bunch of Loops showed up all at
once to a major MGNOC Rally (or Open House) it would send a message to
Guzzi. I'm not sure how they would interpret the message though!
Maybe we should move the location to a different rally each year to see more
of the country and let more of the country see us and our great Loops! Or
each Looper could take a turn at hosting the Loop Group in his/her own
state. Nothing fancy, just a barbeque and a group ride, kind of like this
year.
Just some things to think about over the long, cold winter. Cheers,
Charlie

I might be sharing my pad with a bunch of |
roomates but I'm sure they won't mind scootin' over :-) Our meeting in Salamanca was meant to be. OK....we were going to the same rally but the timing was perfect. Holding our impromptu reunion at the gas station was a blast too. I keep thinking that one of these days we will have to plan a Loop |
meet. Dave and I have talked about this but the country is just so dammed big! Can you imagine 100+ Loops all in the same place at once? By the way...anybody want to lay a guess as to how many Loops there out there in North America?
