No way, not my Guzzi's up for sale!!! Started out with a 1970 Ambo ( and
still love it) and added two more eldo's, Le Mans 2, and even talked my son
into buying Derek's eldo, real nice ride! Son want's the Le Mans 2 , so will
build a Looper Le Mans out of a basket eldo!
Ya I know I didn't send you the frame #'s. Get to it this weekend.
cheers TED

Hi Ted,

Not sure.... never worn one out :-) I would be interested in knowing if
the
100,000+ mile riders have ever had to replace one.

I don't think the rotor ever touches the pick ups and if you put a little
dielectric grease on the top contact then it should go for a long long
time.

Still...they can crack and they aren't too big that you can't bring a
spare
along for the ride. I don't carry one because I don't have a spare.

Regards...Ian

p.s. you aren't the one selling your Ambo on Ebay are you?

 Ian
How long does it take to wear out a distributer cap? Do you carry a spare
?
