Charlie,

Yeah...I could see it now.....bodies upon bodies stacked on top of one another trying to be the ones closest to the cute counselors :-)

I remember a fun night in a tent once. We were all in our mummy sleeping bags. If you wanted to be closer to a particular person you would roll over top of the person next to you and then as you slide between the two the whole line would slide over. Was quite the fun! :-)

OK.....fond memories aside. I think holding a Loop gathering at the MGNA Open House would be awesome. Not that we would try to take anything away from the new bikes but to celebrate the fact that these bikes are made to last....a show of support to the new models.

Problems with this is that Atlanta is not centrally located and the dates of the Open House (if it even happens) would be likely in the spring. I think a Loop National would be better later in the summer....although that might interfere with the MGNOC National in early August.

Still...any reason for us to get together is a good reason. Of course anyone that wants to crash at my place is welcome.

Regards...Ian

Hi All,

Here's a few more locations we might consider for the national.

The east-west-two-rally idea made me think "hmm, Vintage Motorcycle Days does that, why not have a rally that weekend at that event?"

How about Albany, (no not NY) WI or close by. I could finally see MG Cycle and drool over Ambo parts in person! I hear (well read) there's great roads and good eats in the area.

Roswell, GA - we all crash at Ian's place and meet those cute, young counselors! We could ride into Aprilia US's HQ as a group to show just where our loyalties lie!

Just some food for thought! Cheers,

Charlie
