Hey Charlie,
Wisconsin. There's heck o' loops and bacon slicers. The place is lousy
with 'em. Cheese shows up. Maynard (and many others) always has some
ultra-cool Guzzi.
Plus, the roads are pleasantly non-straight, and there's free
Leinenkugals (sp?) and root beer. Oh, yeah..two words: bonfire and
fireworks.
If there's enough interest in loops invading the Wisconsin rally
(irrespective of a 'national meet'), I could be persuaded to bring my
eldo. That said, I sure enjoyed driving around there on my V11 sport
last year.
cheers,
jason

 Hi Todd,
Some would say this years get-together held along with the MD/DC Rally
was the inaugural rally. Dave had enough food for at least 15 people and
I had laid out the "Loop Loop" with that number of attendees in mind
also. It was disappointing in a way that there were only five Loops - I
suffered through long hours in the saddle of my Ambo plotting the route.
:-) And I know Dave had to spend more than a few hours slaving over a
hot stove making that delicious food!

I personally feel the need to go farther west than Cinn., OH and/or
farther south than the Great Smokies Mtns. (the limits of my travels by
bike so far - yes, I know, I've lived a very sheltered life). A Looper
at the VA Rally told me they have a much better turnout of Loops and
Bacon-slicers at the mid-west rallies. That's what I want to see - a
veritable time-warp where time stopped in '75. So what rally(s) might he
have been alluding to?

Anywho, that's all for tonight! See ya',

Charlie
