Glad that you are all OK. FIRE BAD! I think I would do what you did and
stay in defense of my stuff if at all possible. Even here in town a house
can go up before they get to ya and get the hose on it. I ain't waitin'!!
Here's to you having an better 2002!

Eldo timing chain tensioners: I have had an awful time getting an Eldo to run right, and finally figured out the timing chain was way loose, which I did not expect at all because I had used all NOS timing stuff, but what happened is the rubber piece just fell off of the tensioner. Anyone seen this before? My vaction has looked like this: 1. my truck died, so I have to put a new engine in it. 2. my son's jeep broke off the waterpump shaft and sent the fan through thru the radiator, so I had to go rescue him and get him a replacement vehicle, 3. all of my family came to visit 4. we had a llama take sick and had to nurse and eventually put her down 5. the one that topped them all, our house caught fire, fortunately we were able to put it out before the whole thing was lost, by setting up a bucket brigade (of course all the hoses were frozen) and throwing water on it. If we did what the 911 operator told us (to get out and away from the house until the fire department got there) the whole house would have been lost. |
