Zer,
Right you are about a Wixom, or any big ass fairing, hiding the beauty of a
bike. That's another reason I haven't installed the Wix as when I stop
riding the Ambo I do like to look at her. I like the fat tire look. A guy
just bought a black Ambo from Sport Cycle, near here, set up similar to
yours - black, highway lights, big fat white walls, extra red tail-lights,
solo seat ... a real drooler!

Yeah it is a tall one. But I'm a big sucker and it sets well below my eye
level. Works really well despite looking kinda goofy. Well worth it for
keeping the bugs down. Part of why I'm not a wixom fella is because It
hides
too much of what I like about the guzzi looks. The headlight bucket, solo
dash and fork covers.

Thanks for the compliment. I wasn't sure how good the tires would be as
they
are maxxis units. but they wok quite well. The steering is lazy (120 on
both
ends) but the whole bike is a lazy rambling kinda beast.

Zer,
Yeah, Wixom isn't really my style either but I got it on a whim.
Thanks for the look at your sheild, looks too tall for me anyways. I
decline to look through plexi. Seeing stuff on a cycle is difficult
enough

for me without one more 'filter'.
Hey, nice bike - nicely set up with the highway lights and the
whitewalls.

Zer,
I have a Wixom that I have never installed. Turns out if I did
install

 it

 I
would never get the bike through the shed doorway here at my house.
Yeah,

that's my life. It is paintable, could be made to look like part of
a

 bike

setup. Interested? Also, can you send me a pic of your Perry? Bob

looks the same basically. bu instead of a round top with a rolled
bead

 edge
it is more squared. lessee how my ascii drawing works.

is what the top is shaped like. works really well and the price
was
