Hi Ian,

I wouldn't take 'em apart. If nothing else I have learned that bikes take
up a lot less space when assembled! I have carried many pairs of Guzzi in
my Nissan with no problems and it is only 4 foot something at the rails and
less between the wheel wells. As has been mentioned do check them after a
short time to make sure they dont get floppy on ya.
I also wonder if the customs man is gonna want to look at the numbers or
whatnot. That may influence your packing procedure as well.
We look forward to having you here! Do I remeber correctly that you are
coming to GA?

 Hi All,

I am getting ready to haul my bikes south. I've trailered bikes before but
have never tried to stuff two bikes into a 5x8 enclosed Uhaul trailer. Has
anyone ever done this? I thought about semi- disassembling one of the bikes
to make everything fit in better...is this a crazy idea?

Advice would be welcome.

p.s. quiet here. Y'all must be either out riding or recovering from the New
Year's parties :-)
