Yes, no problem Frank, really. Are you still interested in my Wixom then?

The only e-mail I got was last night and it read "okay." But it was a
little too late. Again, I apologize.

Frank,
Oh, well I don't know what happened as I e-mailed you back a couple
of
times, Thursday and Friday but no big thing. Thanks for letting me
know.

Bob,
I'm sorry but when I hadn't heard from you I brought the ws
to a
swap meet on Fri. It's gone.
The Harley part # is 58000-61B if that will help. I run across
them once
in a while. I'll keep you in mind.
BTW the measurements were 21"across at the widest and 16" from top
of
opening to top of ws. It also had an insert to adjust the height.
Again, I apoligize. I really didn't think you were interested.

Bob,
Only the MOUNTING tabs are 11 1/2" apart. About the same
as

 Guzzi
forks. The windshield itself is a Harley Police.
It was made for the sportster and other narrow fork HD. It is
about 24 "
above light but that is adjustable. I'll get exact
measurements

 tomorrow.

Frank,

Uhh, 11 1/2 inches seems mighty narrow. (Is it one of those
'Fly

 Sceens?)
I already have a puny little old shield on there now that is
16"

 wide and
that's not enough. Trouble is that it is also too low. How
high is

 your
model? Can you direct me to a web page where I might see a
pic

 or

 do you
have a pic of the one you have? Thanks and let's kick this
around a

 bit
more.

BTW, my Wixom fiberglass part is fully intact, black with
typical

 white
pinstripe; can be painted. The plexi sheild itself needs
some

 work,

 needs
to be trimmed off at the bottom, new mounting holes drilled
and

 then

 you can
set her up nicely.
Bob
