<P>When I put them in the truck in the "69" position, I put the one facing backwards as close to the tailgate as possible, so I have to muscle it shut. You really only need tiedowns on the front forks. Putting them on the back corners is superfluous.</P>
<P>Angle the bikes so the fronts are almost in the middle, but the rear ends are to either side. If the front bike is tight to the front, it shouldn't interfere with the other one. Since you are using an enclosed trailer, you might have to experiment with how tight to make the tiedowns on the rearward facing bike, in case it hits the door. You might have to let the wheel stick out a small amount, so that you can muscle the door shut.</P>
<P>If the trailer just has a plywood floor, consider just drilling your own holes, and dropping in ringbolts. If you are worried about the trailer people complaining, drop a stove bolt into each hole you make, before you turn it in, and no one will even notice them.<BR><BR></P></DIV>
