I had Dupont Imron paint on my last Eldo, It is a very tough paint but it can be chipped and it is very hard to touch up. Very beautiful finish if it is done right, looks like it is always freshly waxed. Also very few painters will do Imron due to safety riquirements. The fumes are toxic. Not sure about price comparisons.

Well, it's paint, so the answer is yes. However, I "understand" that powdercoat will chip as well, and that it is harder to touch up than paint. I've never had powdercoat on any of my bikes. Can anyone confirm?
