Thanks Chris. It looks like I get on at Cherokee NC and
go north. Cherokee(Reservation) is just over the Smokies
via Hwy 441 from Gatlinburg, if I am not mistaken.
I would love to take it all the way thru Virginia onto
Skyline Dr. How long would that take me at a
leisurely pace?

I haven't ridden the whole thing, but I love the section from Asheville, NC to Boone, NC. Especially from Little Switzerland to the Linn Cove Viaduct around Grandfather Mountain. Very beautiful, and a great ride. Hope you enjoy our mountains while you're here.
