I have a square barrel engine in my Eldo and I used the loop frame head
pipes. I had to cut the end of the pipe off past the flange and make a
spacer to go between the flange and the pipe collar that bolts to the head.

I'm planning on fitting an 850T drive train into a V700 chassis. I
was wondering if loopframe header pipes can be mounted in the T model head
without mods, or are there special requirements dictated by the T model's
exhaust flange design. I like the looks of the double radius bend on the
loop frame pipes as opposed to the double kink Tonti frame pipe.

I'm sure Tom Epperson could get me squared away no matter what the
correct answer is. Tom, you out there?

I know the speedo drive on the loopframe transmissions are farther
outboard as compared to those on Tonti framed transmissions, and this
location could cause interference between the speedo cable & battery
tray/other components. Has anybody out there experienced this challenge who
could pass along some tips? No sense in re-inventing the wheel.

Thanks for the help!
