This is what I was talking about a month or two ago when I asked about the
durability and roadability of Loops. We got quite a thread going on that
topic. But your idea about a Loop in the Iron Butt is very good. Perhaps
Loops can't compete with modern BMWs but it would be good simply to enter
one or two of our strongest bikes and riders and see what happens. They
can't turn us away! I like it!

When was the last time that a Loopframed Guzzi ran the
IronButt? With us pinpointing where many of the
owners of loopframes are located across the country, I
wonder if we couldn't support a rider in an upcoming
IronButt event - be sort of neat to have an old Guzzi
complete the event - without extra fuel tanks, GPS,
radar detectors, etc. Just the bike, windshield, AAA
maps, some spares and baggage... Just run the event,
screw the extra points, just show everyone how it
should be done.
Any thoughts on this?
