I have passed on so many '70s japanese bikes that I have lost track.
There are thousands of them sitting in the backs of garages (if your lucky),
barns, sheds and outdoors in the field. I find all you have to do is let
enough people know you are looking and somebody's uncle used to ride but
gave it up and the old CB350 is in the yard collecting spider webs.
Sometimes you get lucky, most of the time they are major projects but
usually they are either free or next to nothing. I won't touch projects like
this anymore but they are out there. But as Mike said, if you are going to
be paying for one don't listen to the 'Just needs the Carbs cleaned out'
sale. Just not worth the time, money and effort.
