I'll Try to take some pictures of my windshield tomorrow, the only
possible problem is that I've got Comcast internet and they're suppose
to be taking down the system tonight for a few hours. So If you don't
see anything from me for a few days, don't be supprised.

 Jason,
I'm glad to hear you say that about your Wixom Ranger. I've found that
I get head buffeting when I go over 70 mph or so which I did not expect.
I, too, would like to see a picture of John's improvement.

 Hi John,
If you don't mind, I would like to see a picture of it. I get the wood
blocks, but not the aluminum stock.
My Wixom Ranger is hell on my eyeballs and nosehair with all the
turbulance. A pair of deflectors is on the list to be fabricated this
spring.

Oh, and weather? 32 this morning, but it's supposed to get up into the
50's this weekend. I'm outta here!

Cheers,
Jason

Hi Tom,
I don't have a Windjammer but when I replaced the windshield on my Wixom
Ranger, I mounted in front of it's original position with a 1/4" gap at
the bottom. This along with the 8" tall .090" aluminum flat stock that I
mounted in the windshield's original place directs enough air behind the
windshield in an upword direction to keep the turbulance away from you.
I used wooden blocks as spacers between the 'shield and plate figuring I
could experament with different size blocks if I didn't like the
results. Turned out to work so well as first concieved that I didn't
mess with it. I know this is hard to visualize so if anyone is
interested I'll take a picture and post it.
