My Ambo came without a Speedometer or wiring for
instrument light. I
found a speedometer and following the schematics for
the bike I wired
up the in speedo idiot lights. Everything works.
When the bike is
turned on the generator light comes on,then I start
it and it goes out
until I raise the RPMs up past about 2500. At that
speed the light
come back on again. Would this suggest a regulator
problem or a
generator problem. Any ideas or tips on finding the
problem will be
appreciated.
Thanks

I'm not sure if there the same system or not, but
for what it's worth i had the same problem on my eldo
and it turned out to be a bad connector on the
regulator that sits behind the battery. I never had a
problem with the electrical system, the bike started
and ran fine all the time just when my rpm's picked up
the gen. light would come on. I replaced the
connector and i haven't had a problem since.
Hope this helped.
Allen
