Don't screw around with sleeving the damaged bores. My Eldo suffered a
piston failure at Sturgis in August and I limped home on one cylinder. My
local dealer - Erik at Eurocity Cycles - got me a pair of new Gilardoni
cylinders & pistons w/rings for $350. Add a top end gasket set and you are
on the road ... correctly. While in the neighborhood, check rod and main
brgs. Result for me is a beautifully running old Eldo that has a lot of
miles and smile left.
