I fit one to my Ambo. All you have to do is drill the threads out the top mount on the starter and use a long Allen head bolt with a spacer after you have ground away the web by that hole.

looks like my idea to put a Valeo starter on a friends Ambo is a, ahem, non starter.
top mounting for the unit is a stud in the bell housing, not hole drilled right through for a bolt. i looked at a Valeo unit yesterday & mounting holes in that are tapped. even if i drilled it out i don't think there's room for a nut.
i think i'll try to fit a Bosch, might be easier.
