Would you like me to send you a photo to show how this is done? Send me
an E-mail and I will attach a .jpg file. Yes, you have to drill out the
top hole, do some filing, and make a spacer for the top mounting bolt.
Not a really difficult task, but certainly more involved than just
bolting up an original.

drilled right through for a bolt. i looked at a Valeo unit yesterday &
mounting holes in that are tapped. even if i drilled it out i don't
think there's room for a nut.

i think i'll try to fit a Bosch, might be easier.
