You could go to Pep boys and get two battery hold down j hook bolts and
head

What size battery are you using? Large or lawnking?
I bought a battery holder-downer(technical name) at checkers. It fits my lawnking battery o.k., with just a little re-engineering. about 3 bucks.
I too, hate bungee cords for vital componants!
