Zer,
Just a report back to you on a couple of things.

Got that split battery holder thing going on my Ambo. Works real well and holds the battery in good and tight. Put a piece of that rubber stuff that goes under rugs to keep them from slipping; works great, no slippage. The whole thing only cost $6. Should have done this sooner.

Also, the rubber boot on the air box - I glued the thing to the metal air box using GOOP Marine. Man that stuff really holds. It is as though the rubber boot and the air box are one! It was difficult to get the whole assembly back together but I did get it all connected to the carbs. I think this is will really improve my pistons' air quality! Bob
