2. Loopframe and T-3. The loop is put together out of 3 basket cases.
The T-3 I rescued from a junk yard. The T-3 I eventually want to make
into a chopper. I have been head over heels for guzzis for over a
decade. But all the ones I have ever been able to have all the peices in
place (money, bike, opportunity) for have been junk heap refugees. Never
have taken possession of a fine running Moto Guzzi. Have had to build
them all. Oh well. Some day.

Right on Man!

I just had an evening prepping a frame for transfer of all the stuff.
The crossframe brake rod was stuck but good. definitely a 3 beer
problem. Finally took some ingenuity with a gear puller to get that
sucka free.

now I am working on some side cover bolts that are rather solidly rusted
into place. and the bolts are a bit too hard for the drill bit. I might
just have a new bracket welded on.

Zer,
Just a report back to you on a couple of things.

Got that split battery holder thing going on my Ambo. Works real well
and holds the battery in good and tight. Put a piece of that rubber
stuff that goes under rugs to keep them from slipping; works great, no
slippage. The whole thing only cost $6. Should have done this sooner.

Also, the rubber boot on the air box - I glued the thing to the metal
air box using GOOP Marine. Man that stuff really holds. It is as
though the rubber boot and the air box are one! It was difficult to get
the whole assembly back together but I did get it all connected to the
carbs. I think this is will really improve my pistons' air quality!
