1-yes, the starter relay has an interlock with the neutral light (ha,ha).
You can bypass the relay, or you can get a clutch cable from the police bike.
It has an integral switch which shorts the circuit and bypasses the relay
whenever you pull in on the clutch.

2-its an Italian brand name. Don't know what the name is.

3-very easy to do when you know how. The outside lever of the center stand
is NOT for elevating the bike, it is only for putting the stand to the
ground. Once the stand is down, you need to reach in with the ball of your
right foot and put it squarely on the end of the stand. Now press down while
also lifting and pulling the bike. It will probably pop right up. Its a
learned technique, so just practice. Most importantly, press on the end of
the stand, not the side lever.
