i've always got confused about this myself.

i've just looked it up in "the carburettor manual" from Dellorto, & it gives
the figure for PHF carbs as 18 +/- 0.5

guzzi factory manual for LM 2 gives figure of 23.5 (which is probably where
haynes get it from). However, i have crossed this out sometime in the past &
entered note of: 17.5 to 18.5. that is what i must use on my LM 1.

Anyone know the correct float levels for the PHF 36 pumpers off a LeMans
1? The haynes book vaguely suggests 23.5mm, and Godfrey's website says
17-18mm.
