Hey Scott,

I just had a look at my reflectors. Yeah...the Lucas name is on top.

As for the peashooters.....I had heard that they will restrict the flow. I
guess they were ok for the 700 engines but I don't know how they would be
with the 850 engines and up. Did the Eldos come with peashooters?

If you want a good alternative go with the Original Repro mufflers from MAC.
I have them on the 69 Ambo and the end is bigger.

I hope this helps....Ian

Hey Ian,On your bike, looking at the Lucas reflectors,is the name Lucas on
the top or is it upside-down?Dumb question, but I guess Lucas would have
designed its reflectors to be placed with their name in an upright
position.Mine currently are inverted,I shined a million candlepower spot at
them, they seem to actually reflect. What do you think.IM probably being way
too anal on this one.Another question that has me puzzled.I have a big bore
eldo.I like the look of the stock ambo/eldo peashooters.I have a set,when I
run them the bike feels like it is suffering a bit from exhaust
restriction, the cyls. get kinda warm as compared to when I run Mac
fishtails. The bike feels like it decelerates much more freely with the
Macs,With the peashooters,when I go off throttle,the bike doesn't slow down
as rapidly with engine braking effect. My main concern is that i dont want to
melt a piston by using a much too restrictive exhaust. The bike feels totally
different running the fishtails yet i like the look of the peashooters.Any
constructive feedback much appreciated. We just got a foot of snow here,I was
riding last Sat.,froze my nads off but still enjoyed it.Cant ride for a
couple weeks until the latest application of sand and salt has left the
roadway.Thanks Scott K. Hillsboro,NH
