FWIW, the residual oil in these forks seemed a lot thicker than ATF. I
am going to put the Wirth stiffer springs in there, so maybe I'll try
some thicker oil.

So what's supposed to go in the forks on drum braked loops? The service
manual gives some odd Shell product.
