I have been trying to find a better spring also, because the stockers
have a reputation for being pretty soft even new, and after 30 years....
No luck so far, so I guess I'll stack a preload spacer in there for
now. The PO of my eldo had greased the fork springs. Is this something
I should do, or was he just protecting them from rust during the bikes
long storage (disassembled)?
