I presume that the decals on the white fenders were also red to go with
the red pinstripes ?

I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong...but the only way I've
personally ever seen an Eldorado is with the same color for tank
fenders
and all other body work and black frame. My V7 was originally red
tank
with silver fenders, so your prev owner maybe was trying to emulate
this
style? not sure here, but personally I feel 99% sure that you need a

black frame and all other body work to match. Then again, I'm not a

show judge either. Good luck.
