1) how about re-sleeving?
2) While ordering from Italy may save some dough to start with...imagine
if something goes awry and it needs to be sent back? Personally, I don't
begrudge a shop like Moto making their nut. Especially when they are so
free with time, patience and advice.



Had a great chat this morning with the folks at moto international.

I was dropping off some stuff to get bead blasted and
asked them about my cyls. Well, the reason I have the aftermarket
pistons AND the weird pushrod journals is that my cyls have been bored
and sleeved. The cast iron is in ok shape, but it looks like the folks
that installed them didn't do the best job. So it looks like nikasil is
in my future.

Couple of questions

1. anybody got an 850 crank around they want to get
rid of or know where I could pick one up?

2. Anybody order recently from italy want to share
info like cost, contact info, etc. Is italy even
the best way to go these days?
