What a difference 2 mm make! I got the Eldo ready for a ride
yesterday and went out on a few errands. I couldn't believe the
difference. Before the hub change, shifting was very akin to 1970's
platform shoes - very clunky, loud, and unsettling. Before, I had no
problem in knowing when I had shifted for I could hear & feel the
change. Now I can't tell! My take-offs are much smoother as well (a
little bit jerky but probably due to the newness of the clutch plates).
There seems to be less rattle and noise from the clutch especially when
accelerating to above legal speeds. A great improvement over the very
notched 2 mm input hub.
