I put the bike up on 4X4's on the center stand. This just barely gives
enough clearance. Also, if you are running a 120 rear tire, you have to
deflate it so it can compress a bit. Once the axle is out and the wheel on
the ground, I cock it a bit to the left and diagonal. Slides out easily
then.
Hope this helps.

If you can get the bike on the c-stand on a 2 X 6, the extra clearance
really helps.

Raise the bike up on the center stand and remove the brake stay and
actuating rod. Loosen pinchbolts,
remove axle bolt. Then lean the bike over on to its side stand while
still
on the center stand. There should be just enough room to slip the rear
wheel
out. It work best with two people, one to hold the bike and one to get
the rear wheel. Good Luck

What is the best way to get the rear wheel off the loopframes? I
tried
 the
example given in the manual, but found it incredibly difficult. What
is
 the
trick? The rear fender gave me fits.
