Haven't had to do this way yet BUT....on my old 68 HD dresser I'd just carefully lay it over on the crashbars and pull the tire out....beats walkin'....
Old Harley's came with hinged rear fenders. Maybe somebody could whip up a batch o' hinged fenders for loopframes.
