Thanks, I'll eventually be doing that with a motion light, well, running
a cicuit out of the box in there so it will have it's own power source.

A good alarm consists of a shotgun aimed at the door and a piece of
string tied to the doorknob. Seriously, if you want a motion detection
device, buy a motion detector light, set it up inside the garage, screw

a plug socket into it instead of a light (I rewired mine, just tap into
the wires that go to the lights), and plug in your choice of
noisemaker. This could be something as simple as a radio turned on full
blast.

Yeah, have 2 great danes right now, one, the one that barks is on loan,
might be able to keep him though. I already secured the doors with 2
decent
size locks and plan on putting a motion detector light out there. I
thought
about a motion alarm on the inside also. Finding one is becomming harder
than expected. I would like something to make some noise while I'm
sleeping.

I really need a whole new garage, but we can't part with the $$ right
now,
so I'm looking for cheaper alternatives.
