Hi All,
On a related subject, has anyone tried using a larger quantity of fork oil than recommended? Say adding 10 cc at a time (over the standard fill amount) and seeing if it helps with fork bottoming and dive. With more oil there would be less air in the fork. Less air to compress = less dive/bottoming? Worked on my old XS650 Yamaha years ago. Just a thought! Cheers,

Charlie

I'm awaiting the arrival of new seals for the Eldo forks (only one per side,
thank you) from Moto Guzzi Classics. While discussing the needed parts with
MGC (Mark?), I was told not to use ATF in these forks. Rather, use 30 wt.
fork oil. I have regularly used ATF as a hold over from my dirt bike days.
I thought perhaps this info might be of use to other Eldo owners. Seems I am
never too old to learn one more damn new thing.
