My job requires me to travel to SoCal about 4 or 5 times per year. Our
plant is in San Bernardino, so I usually fly in to Ontario or Santa Ana.
However, an extra low fare had me flying into the dreaded LAX yesterday.
I had a little time to kill, so I thought I would look up Mark at Moto
Guzzi Classics in Signal Hill.

Let me tell you guys, it is worth the trip. His shop is filled with
absolutely beautiful restorations and custom creations. There were at
least two stunning completed Police Eldos (probably more, but my head is
still spinning) and more under construction, a V7 sport under
construction, the infamous "Ethnick" ( a slammed and raked Jackal custom
built by Mark for his amusement). If anyone is looking for a first class
craftsman to work on their Goose (new or old), or to buy a show quality
restoration, Mark is THE guy.

He also has an amazing selection of used parts, difficult to find NOS,
reproduction parts produced by Moto Guzzi Classics (loopframe police solo
seats, racks, V700 battery covers, get this, V7 Sport tool boxes, and a
bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting) and even new parts.

Mark spent an hour or so of his time talkin' bikes, showing me his shop
and bikes, giving me some great tips, and generally being an excellent
host. Thanks for the hospitality, Mark!

To top it all off, I even saw a guy riding a Vincent single away from the
pub where I went for dinner! California is great.
