Saludos,

I rebuilt a wrecked 97 hd police road king. It was a
fun, albeit expensive project. The factory, via the
dealer, sold me a new frame with matching numbers. I
cut off the numbers from the steering head on the old
bike, then I discovered that they wanted the whole
steering head with the numbers! Could have been a
problem, but it was ok. Anyway, when I was working on
that project, I looked for a list like this one. It
doesn't exist. (You guys are great.)
All the harley lists I could find (that have any
activity) are about fashion accessories, which loud
pipes to buy, riding short distances (from bar to bar)
and towing services. In other words, today's hd riders
don't work on their own bikes. I imagine the ones that
do work on their own bikes don't use computers. In all
fairness, the numbers are small. After all, I ride a
harley (more than the guzzi).

I just got one of the original Guzzi fairings for
the Eldo.

To mount it, I'll need to replace the '74 aluminum
risers on my bike
with the steel ones with the fairing-mount holes.

Anyone have an extra set?

Thanks!

That should be a Hydra-Glide, but may not be. Some

Here's the group he's looking for:
36-oh-@yahoogroups.com

Covers all the Panheads and Knuckleheads.

There're a couple books he might want to get, too:
"How to Restore Your
Harley" by Bruce Palmer and "Harley-Davidson
Panheads" by yours truly.
