Tom,
yeah that would make sense, It would be something that hindered the sale of
the bikes to PD's.

Yeah, sure I can make that. Sounds like a good time, You can't make fun of
my wiring harness though! Why not a ride through the city, roads not good
enough for you! Between the shooting and dodging the potholes it can make
for some adventurous riding.

I also planned on mid-ohio and Sept. 13 - 15 @ cycle more campground. And
don't forget Ken will be racing at Gratin 6/22-6/23 with the guzzi.

Kev,

I'm not going to claim that I know about every variant of the police
models (that's Mark's job), but I've never seen one with a right-hand
('er foot) shift. Basically, they were set up to be as close as possible
to the Harley FLH cop bikes in their layout, supposedly so that the
officers wouldn't have to relearn the Guzzi layout when moving between
HD's and Guzzis.

The Guzzi cop sidestand (which is still featured on many of today's
models) and the footboards have "Hogley" written all over 'em. seems the
Berliners knew something about the philosophy of "don't argue, just give
the customers what they want".

BTW, are you coming to the MichiGuzzi Four County Ride on August 25?
We're planning on starting in Mt. Clemens and ending up at my place 150
miles later for a cookout and cheap beer. Don't worry, none of the
riding will be in the Mojo, so you can leave your weapons at home.
