Rich,

If you need the gasket for the rear drive (850 type) I
have 2 or 3 of them I never used. The one you need, is
it the small one at the bottom of the drive? Can send
you 1 when I get home on Monday.

A good project for this weekend--thanks for the suggestion as I didn't
really know where else to look. I do think it's the sump cover--it's
just frustrating the MI has the gaskets on backorder.

I didn't use synthetic as I thought it could cause a leak.

I added 340 ml of oil (I think it was that) plus the 20 ml of moly. I
just got the bike a couple of months ago. The small manual said 230 ml
for the rear end. The large manual said 340 and Guzziology said 340, so
that's what I added. I couldn't have been off more than a few ml.
