Done did that. Looking at a Marelli reg pic a few minutes ago, I may
have the field and armature wires flipped. My reg cover was too rusty to
show the id so I based the wires on what someone else told me they
looked like on their bike.
My Cheng Shins were keeping up with you when we were rocking and rolling
in your mountains last year!

Silly boy; don't get extravagant on us now.

Instead, pop off the cap on the regulator.

Clean the "points." And by adjusting their gaps, you can adjust the
charging.

That'll save you the price of one of your cast-iron Cheng Shin tires.
